Fundamental Skill Instruction & Development:

 

The workouts focus on learning the fundamental skills of ball handling, shooting, and defense.  Players are taken through drills to develop muscle memory for the skill being emphasized,  this requires repetition.   Depending on the age of the player, we may be focusing on breaking bad habits or on developing proper technique for a new skill. 

Agility:

 

The workouts focus on developing the proper footwork and speed.  We work on skills through the entire kinetic chain of the body.  Basketball skills all start from the feet up!

 

Confidence:
 
Throughout the workouts we work on building player confidence.  The workouts are a safe environment for players to give all out effort and not be afraid to make a mistake.  We learn through our mistakes.  As coaches we help teach the players how to identifly what they are doing wrong, so they can learn to correct the skill.  Above all we push them to believe in themselves!
